“Can I get another shot and a beer.”  Cherry yells to the bartender.

“Cherry?  What’s wrong?”  The waitress asks as she sets the alcohol in front of her.

“I’m celebrating my new found freedom!”  She slurs as she downs the shot with a wince.  She chases it with a sip of her beer.

“Celebrating what?”

“My soon to be new career.  I am no longer officially a go-go dancer.”

“What happened?  Did you get fired or what?”  She asks incredulously.

“Nope.  I finally quit that dump.  I wasn’t meant to be a dancer.”

“Congrats kid.  You should never have been one in the first place.”

“Last call!”  The bartender yells.

“What?  I’m just getting started.  I’ve barely got a buzz!”

“Cherry, it’s closing time.  Go get some food and sleep it off.”  He looks at her pouting face and continues.  “Just go.  You have to leave.”

“Fine!”  Cherry says putting on her leather jacket and walks shakily to the door.
